Risk factors
Several factors influence the risk of developing heart disease. Age, sex and family history are among the irreversible risk factors. On the other hand, some elements such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, smoking, poor eating habits and much more are modifiable, so as to prevent heart disorders.
