CHRISTMAS STUFFING WITH APPLES AND WALNUTS

Ingredients
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) olive oil
- 680 g (2 packages of 340 g) original ground meatless meat (Yves Veggie Cuisine)
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 stalks of celery, finely chopped
- 1 clove of garlic, chopped
- 1 Cortland apple, cut into small cubes
- 5 ml (1 tsp.) savory ground
- 250 ml (1 cup) trail mix
- 120 g (1 can) stuffing mix (Stove Top brand)
- 250 ml (1 cup) vegetables broth without added salt
- Pepper to taste
Steps
1 - In a non-stick pan, heat oil.
2 - Cook the ground meatless meat for 4 to 5 minutes (or until cooked). Add the onion and celery and cook 2 to 3 minutes.
3 - Add the garlic and apple. Season with savory and pepper.
4 - Add the trail mix and the mixture. Mix well.
5 - Place in a baking dish.
6 - Cover with aluminum foil.
7 - Bake at 180°C. (350°F) for 25 minutes.
8 - Remove foil. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes (or until lightly browned).
9 - Remove from oven.
10 - Serve as an accompaniment with your lunch meals holiday season!
