DAN DAN STYLE NOODLES WITH TOFU

Ingredients
Sauce :
- 45 ml (3 tbsp.) low sodium soy sauce
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) rice vinegar
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) gochujang sauce
- 10 ml (2 tsp.) hoisin sauce
- 5 ml (1 tsp.) maple syrup
- 180 ml (3/4 cup) low sodium chicken (or vegetable) broth
Tofu noodles:
- 5 ml (1 tsp.) sesame or vegetable oil
- 1 package (350 g) extra firm tofu, cut into pieces
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) grated fresh ginger
- 500 ml (2 cups) chopped cabbage
- 80 ml (1/3 cup) chopped green onions
- ½ spicy red pepper finely chopped
- ½ package (225 g) cooked rice noodles (follow cooking instructions on package)
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) chopped peanuts
Steps
1 - In a bowl, combine all the sauce ingredients. Set aside.
2 - In a large and deep skillet, heat the oil. Add the tofu and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
3 - Add garlic and ginger
4 - Add the cabbage, green onion and red pepper, the sauce and cooked pasta. Mix well and cook for 1 minute.
5 - Serve immediately and garnish with peanuts!
@Helene : Bonjour Helene! La sauce Gochujang se trouve dans la majorité des épiceries. On peut également remplacer par une autre sauce épicée (sriracha, par exemple).
Puis-je remplacer la sauce gochujang ? si non où la trouve-t-on ( chez IGA ou …) Merci à l’avance.
